NSW first-home buyers twice as likely as other states to spend over $1 million on property

First-home buyers are being forced to spend more than one million dollars to get into the market thanks to Sydney’s soaring house prices.

A survey by consumer group Finder revealed an astonishing 35 per cent of first-home buyers in NSW were prepared to spend over $1 million to buy a house — double the rate of those in Victoria and Queensland who were prepared to go that high.
