TASMANIAN first-time homebuyers need to save less for their deposit than budding buyers interstate do, but that figure is climbing.
Finder’s First Home Buyers Report 2021, which surveyed 1028 buyers, found Apple Isle FHBs were saving, on average, $81,438 to put towards a typical $325,751 home loan. Compared with 2019, this was a 17 per cent rise.
